TOUR GLOVE

I love these Tour Gloves. Working in the snow all winter, and these are the first pair of high-dexterity gloves that lasted an entire season in a long time. The leather and wool insulation is soft enough for excellent mobility and sensitivity, but has stood up to daily wear surprisingly well. The soft-shell on the back-of-the-hand has never pilled or torn. These keep my hands nice and warm during high-output activities in cold weather and provide much better dexterity than what you might expect from a soft-shell synthetic fleece lined glove. These don't have a waterproof membrane, so they breath well and you don't get sweaty and wet from the inside. They really work best in sub-freezing conditions. When working in wet snow I'll switch over to a waterproof glove, but for their designed purpose of ski touring in alpine conditions these are a fantastic option for a light, durable, warm, and breathable glove. If in doubt, order up in size as the fingers and palm are shorter that some other glove brands.

I use my tour gloves in the plains, medium and high mountains and it is simply the best hiking glove I have worn.
