When we were established in 1980, we set ourselves the goal of providing maximum protection for athletes in the mountains. We are now presenting a new milestone in avalanche safety: Our new airbag system – ELECTRONIC, LIGHTWEIGHT, VERSATILE.
What is it that makes the AVABAG LiTRIC series so unique? The electronic system makes it possible for it to be lightweight, simple and reliable. And with our ZIP-ON concept, you can easily adapt your FREERIDE or TOUR BASE for different uses by adding different zip bags.
AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR SERIES
IDEAL FOR VARIED SKI TOURS
With their light weight and excellent stability, the AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR models are designed for ski touring. The BASE is available in two back lengths: regular (42–50cm) and short* (36–44cm). The backpacks come with all required attachment options and a separate safety compartment, and are extremely comfortable for long ascents.

AVABAG LITRIC ZIP-ONS
TOUR ZIP-ONS or FREERIDE ZIP-ONS
You can easily adapt your AVABAG LiTRIC’s areas of use: Each BASE is compatible with all of our ZIP-ONS. This means you can adjust the technical features and the volume of the backpack – from a compact 18l (or 16 S) to 40l (36 S) for multi-day tours.
Please note: ZIP-ONS in size S (also indicated in the product name) are of course only compatible with BASES with a short S-back.
AVABAG LITRIC FREERIDE
PERFECT FOR POWDER LAPS
They have a compact and extremely secure fit against your back and while also offering great freedom of movement: The AVABAG LITRIC FREERIDE models come with a wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps, and they are compatible with our CLASP back protector. The BASE is available in two back lengths: regular (42–50cm) and short* (36–44cm).

AVABAG LITRIC ZERO
THE LIGHTWEIGHT PURIST
1,970 grams total weight for a highly technical 27-liter airbag backpack! Our AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO focuses on the essentials while also providing sufficient storage space, and is equipped with all the important features (well-arranged safety compartment, provision for a hydration system, attachment options). As a special model, it is permanently attached to its BASE.
