Less weight, more performance

Lightweight, water-resistant insulating vest with SWISSWOOL for ski tours

  • less weight with increased insulation
  • excellent moisture regulation
  • maximum freedom of movement

The SWISSWOOL PIZ BOÈ VEST for men is ideal for the discerning ski tourer who knows that less is more: less weight, less volume but more performance.

The robust PERTEX® QUANTUM shell makes the lightweight insulating vest extremely windproof and abrasion resistant, with the quilted outer fabric providing a stylish pixel look. A 60 g/m2 SWISSWOOL® lining not only provides excellent insulation against the cold, the fibers also have a moisture-regulating function, absorbing up to 35% of their own weight in moisture. Thanks to its athletic cut and elastic MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT in the back, the SWISSWOOL PIZ BOÈ VEST for men adapts to your every move, even in the most demanding terrain.

The tight-fitting, elastic hood and elastic waistband keep the wind and cold at bay even on freezing summits. The two generous front pockets provide additional space for essentials you may need to keep at hand, even if you have a backpack or belt.

The SWISSWOOL PIZ BOÈ VEST for men is thus the ideal companion for demanding tours, where low weight and maximum performance are required.

My favorite vest with cool features such as the two large pockets that can also be used as ventilation. The elastic arm ends and the hood are also a highlight. I also find them stylish and therefore wear them in everyday life.

Ski touring
One of my favorite and most used layers. I bring it with me on most winter outings whether it be skiing or climbing. I love how easy it is to throw on over a jacket, and when its real cold I use it as mid layer. Super great piece to own, if you like vests.

This fits easily under a soft-shell and the pockets are easily accessible. I am undecided about the hood though. I haven't found much use for it. Even in a larger size than I usually wear, it doesn't layer over very easy. This fits easily under a soft-shell and the pockets are easily accessible. I am undecided about the hood though.
