The answer: The WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL JACKET for women, features an innovative material mix that contains merino wool and offers robustness and breathability. 100% reliable for complete focus on the mountains.

In the underarm and hip areas, robust MERINO NATURETEC RIPS inserts protect against abrasion and damage. In less exposed areas, MERINO NATURETEC provides breathability, freedom of movement and a comfortable body climate when out on tour.

When it’s time to use an ice axe on steep ice or rock faces, the High Reach Performance fit’s longer sleeves and torso aid high-reaching overhead moves. The helmet-compatible hood can be quickly adjusted in just one step and, together with the adjustable cuffs and waistband, offers perfect protection against the weather. It also has comfortably soft merino mesh inserts in the chin area.

Another practical feature is the 2-way zipper, which enables easy access to your climbing harness. Two strategically placed breast pockets provide quick access to your cell phone, snacks or other small items.

The WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL JACKET for women is PFC-free and climate neutral.
